About The Game

The turn-based strategy Feed the Scorchpot comes from Moravian and is published by Indieformer together with WhisperGames. It is a dice roguelike about a simple bargain: twenty years of protection for the island in exchange for twenty years of dinner service for a dragon. The island thrives under the beast's watchful eye, but only for as long as the meals keep coming.

Every year the dragon wakes up hungrier. You roll dice to work your island, harvest ingredients, fuse them into recipes, and cook them down in the Scorchpot, the pot you keep full or end up in. Get the meal right and you prosper. Get it wrong and you are smoke. Miss a meal, and you are next on the menu.

The island grows across a hex-grid board. Farmsteads, shrines, and harbors change how the tiles pay out, and placing them so they feed each other is the heart of the strategy. More than 50 buildings and over 80 recipes can be mixed and upgraded until a handful of tiles turns into numbers that bury the dragon in food. Every meal is a math puzzle, and combining ingredients into recipes that boost Flavor and Essence multiplies the score into absurd heights.

The dice themselves can be built. More than 20 types wait in the tray, from odd and even dice to colored ones and dice carved into six sixes. Pressing your luck wins in fewer seasons for a bigger payoff, but each year you stay raises the stakes: harsher odds, hungrier dragons, and the odd tantrum that torches the board. Strong runs end with you tearing the whole machine down and rebuilding it while it is on fire.

Feed the Scorchpot was released on Steam on August 20, 2026. Every dragon, building, and meal is hand-drawn, the loop is quick to learn, and yes: you can pet the dragon.
