About The Game

Exark is a management strategy game developed by Robot Cat Limited and published by Goblinz Publishing. The premise is apocalyptic in scale: the world machine is broken, the sun has become a baleful orb of radiation, and the Celestial Bureaucracy is in disarray. As the Captain-General of a great ark, you must lead your people rimwards, away from the gaze of the green sun, and survive the long voyage ahead.

Survival runs on production. Food fuels your buildings, stockpiles increase their cycle speed, and production capacity allows you to construct more buildings on your ever expanding ark. Inspiration lets you hire crew members with distinct skills to improve your operations, while gold can be spent at dockside markets to buy buildings and crew outright. Balancing these resources turns every voyage segment into a set of meaningful decisions about what to build next and whom to bring aboard.

The Great Houses add replay depth. Players choose between houses with their own distinct arks, buildings, and crewmates. House Arioch commands the golden flagship Diurnal Ark, harnessing the expertise of engineers and artisans. House Mnesis sails the titanic Shepherd Moon, a motherlode of precious raw materials. Each house has specialities to exploit and shortcomings to mitigate, and leading them to safety plays out differently every run.

The result is a strategy experience where logistics and narrative atmosphere work together.
