About The Game

Last Epoch Rage of the Frostborn is the Season 5 update for the action RPG from Eleventh Hour Games, and it went live on October 1. The seasonal content centers on the Rage of Morditas, a mechanic that builds across a fresh character until it points toward a showdown with Morditas, God of Bloodshed, the Pinnacle boss of this cycle. For newcomers, the base game arrived on February 21 2024 with 15 mastery classes and more than 100 skill trees, one of the roomiest frameworks in the genre, and the seasonal model keeps that foundation fresh by giving every cycle a new system, new rewards and a reason to start over. Season 5 also introduces three new skills, Radiant Lance for the Paladin, Summon Tide Elemental for the Shaman and Dreamslash for the Bladedancer, together with a wave of new powerful items to chase. The battlefield remains the world of Eterra, which continues to host every build, every grind and every season.

The gameplay follows the rhythm the game has made its own. The Rage of Morditas defines the arc of every new character, and the climb toward the Pinnacle encounter is the mountain each build aims to summit. The three new skills widen the class fantasies immediately, one each for the Paladin, the Shaman and the Bladedancer, and each slots into the enormous skill tree system that gives the game its celebrated depth. Loot remains the engine of progression, and the wave of new powerful items this season hands veterans new trophies and new build ideas alike. Between battles, the Nexus hub serves as home base, while the Merchant Guild market offers a trading economy for players who prefer dealing to pure grinding. The loop of leveling a new mastery, racing toward the seasonal mechanic and then perfecting a build against Morditas, God of Bloodshed, is exactly what fans of the genre come for, and Season 5 delivers it with a cold new flavor.
