ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD is an atmospheric first person game from the independent studio EMIKA GAMES that mixes a quiet shop simulation with supernatural horror and dark humor. The action takes place on the night before Halloween in a small convenience store by the road, where the hero works a regular late shift. Shelves need to be stocked, the floor needs to be cleaned and the occasional customer needs a receipt, yet the silence outside the windows slowly turns into something far less ordinary. The main goal is to survive the shift and understand who, or what, is standing in the dark beyond the glass. The project was released in October 2026 and presents its story through small details rather than long cutscenes, with a comic inspired look and adjustable pixelation that can be tuned to personal taste.The gameplay is deliberately slow and grounded. Most of the time is spent on routine tasks, and the game never rushes the player through them. Customers arrive with strange requests, the radio reports odd news, and the lights begin to behave in ways that no maintenance manual can explain. The store itself becomes a character, with flickering signs, dusty shelves and a parking lot that never feels truly empty. There is no combat at all, so tension comes from sound, limited visibility and the feeling that something is moving just outside the frame. The supernatural plot unfolds in short episodes, and each night shift adds a new detail to the mystery. Small choices, such as checking a noise in the back room or ignoring it, change how the story is told. Among the most interesting features are the hand drawn comic visuals, the detailed sound design that carries most of the scares, and the balance between humor and genuine unease that keeps the experience unsettling without turning into a simple jump scare collection.
