The kettle is on, the house is clean and an 86 year old woman is sitting down to wait. As Long As She Forgot is the first person psychological horror from waleedzo, a short walking simulator in which Marlene has prepared for a family visit that she says happens every time. Nothing in the opening minutes is wrong. Rooms are tidy, objects sit where they belong and the only change is the rain getting heavier against the windows. What the game does with that waiting is the point, because a home that offered comfort slowly starts reading as a place with things in it that somebody put there on purpose. You explore a detailed house, uncover what it has been keeping and solve environmental puzzles that belong to the rooms rather than to an inventory. Playtime is stated at 30 to 40 minutes, so the whole thing is designed for one sitting rather than a long campaign. One apartment is the entire map. The game treats it as a memory object instead of a level. Drawers, photographs, a table laid for more people than will arrive and rooms that gain details between visits are how the plot arrives, and there is no combat, no item management and no fail state to worry about. The subject is grief and the way it quietly rearranges a person, which puts this closer to a short story than to a genre horror product, and the ending only becomes legible once you have noticed what changed while you were not looking. waleedzo released the game on October 29, 2026, and the newest version here is Build 25947413, with patch notes about subtitle placement, a crash on exit and lighting in the later rooms. Full English audio is listed alongside Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese, and partial controller support is available. The cover art uses original photography by Chalmers Butterfield from Wikimedia Commons under a CC BY 2.5 licence, and the store page states plainly that some passages are loud, so headphones are a decision rather than a default.
