Physics driven punching and anime styling meet in GloveUp, the boxing game TurtlePunch Studios built around knockouts that arrive only after you earn them. The whole roster is yours to design: face, eyes, irises and eyeliner, hairstyles with their own color sections, then height, speed, power and durability on the build. Shoes, socks, shorts, headbands, dresses and tattoos finish the look, and none of it changes how you fight except in confidence. Two modes frame the session, Enhanced, where leveling unlocks abilities that can flip the momentum of a bout, and Realism, which keeps the stat system but strips the special moves so timing, movement, defense, stamina and clean punching do all the work. Opponents arrive in all shapes, sizes and difficulties, and every one of them has habits worth reading. The clinch is the part most players underestimate, because ducking, weaving, countering and holding an opponent together are how a round gets controlled instead of survived. Read the tell, pick your opening, and spend the exchange on your terms rather than trading blindly. Stats arrive as you level and you place them wherever you like, so a hard hitting knockout artist, a fast counterpuncher and an endurance fighter can all come from the same start. Abilities unlock through progress and answer specific problems, whether you want to overwhelm somebody, survive a brutal exchange, or stage a comeback late in a bout. Venues lean fantasy, from floating fruit in the sky to a relaxed five star cruise ship, which keeps the circuit from feeling like one gym. Gamepad support favors an Xbox controller, with PS4 and PS5 pads handled through Steam Input. The current version is Build 26342147, uploaded 31 October 2026, and the patch notes on the store follow the early access balance work on animations and abilities.
