Pool Glow is a cozy and meditative psychological game about the exploration of mysterious liminal spaces from the independent developer ShibaHJGame, which is entirely dedicated to the popular Internet pool core aesthetic. The plot here is as mysterious as possible. You wake up in a strange otherworldly dimension with no memories of your past and no understanding of how you got here. Around you is a giant maze of pure white tiled pools filled with clear water where soft light and shadows intertwine in whimsical patterns. The main point of the game is not in action, but in leisurely walks through these surreal flooded halls in order to regain your spatial memory and piece by piece unravel the secret of this calm but at the same time eerily comfortable place.

The main feature of the gameplay is the absolute absence of enemies of health scale battles or any clearly defined tasks, which turns the project into an ideal walking simulator for relaxation. A feature of the mechanics is a full emphasis on your perception of the environment, a dynamic change of lighting on the water and an incredible three dimensional sound design, thanks to which every splash of water or echo of steps on the tile creates a deep effect of presence. The game was created under the influence of famous digital artists like Jared Pike, so the visual style is the main tool of interaction here, and the developers advise you not to rush to explore the rooms at your own pace, enjoying the peace and looking for hidden passages between the flooded levels.
