Thanks to the developed main city, your troops can receive supplies right on the battlefield. On the tactical side, the third game in the Age of Empires series dropped noticeably. Now you can defeat the enemy by simply accumulating more military power than he has. In other words, the aspect of strategic planning in this game has receded into the background.

In terms of general changes, Age of Empires III is much more beautiful. Balanced civilizations from the previous part migrated to the third, which allowed the developer to concentrate on the visual component.
