About The Game

Flamecraft is an incredibly colorful and cozy board strategy game where players take on the role of Flamekeepers who possess the unique ability to communicate with tiny artisan dragons. The game is set in a fairytale town where these adorable magical creatures do not burn down castles, but instead work peacefully in local shops, helping merchants bake fresh bread, forge iron, brew magical potions, and grow rare plants. The main task of each player is to travel around the town market, introduce the little dragons to shop owners, cast useful household spells, and help the merchants grow their businesses.

Over time, humble workshops transform into thriving enterprises, and the players earn reputation points as they compete for the prestigious title of the most famous and skilled Master of Flamecraft in town.The core gameplay mechanic revolves around taking turns to visit different shops, where on every single turn you must make a clear strategic choice: either gather resources or enchant the shop. If you choose to gather, you collect the specific goods produced by that establishment, place a matching artisan dragon from your hand into an empty slot, and fire up the unique special ability of any dragon already working there.

Choosing to enchant allows you to spend your accumulated goods to upgrade the shop, which permanently improves its income, grants you a massive boost in reputation, and lets you trigger the abilities of all dragons in that shop at once. The most interesting feature of the game is its dynamic nature, as the town expands right during the match: whenever a shop becomes completely filled with dragons, a brand new random shop with unique properties opens up on the board, making every playthrough distinct and forcing players to adapt their tactics to the ever-shifting market.
