Malignant Survivors 2 throws you into the horde and lets luck decide the rest. Published by Esnet Software, this 3D horde roguelite is old-school, punishing, and packed with the kind of chaos that only comes from a thousand enemies on screen at once.

Every run here is a gamble. The drops are not pre-designed — every barrel and every chest can drop anything, so you never know what you are going to get. With around 1000 base items and 50-odd prefixes that add new affixes on drop, the loot is always different. You can even check what other players found on the item leaderboards.

You open chests, grab boosts, and either run from the horde or charge straight into it. Crafting gives you room to grow: collect materials and upgrade or reroll your items with recipes, and sometimes the results surprise you. You will die eventually — that is the point. Try another hero, another build, another set of tactics.

If luck is on your side and you find a great item mid-run, you might clear the whole realm with an otherwise weak build. That is the thrill that keeps you coming back for one more run.
