You own the front office in this simulation and strategy game: drafting, trading, negotiating contracts, hiring coaches, setting lines, then living with the results for as many decades as you feel like playing. It arrived on 4 September 2026 for around twelve dollars as the ninth edition of a series one developer has been making alone since 2019. A career starts anywhere from 1917 to the present day and never stops on a scripted date, so dynasties and disasters both come from your own decisions rather than a storyline. Trade trees are the new tool in this edition: follow any deal forward and see where a player landed later, what he was moved for next, and how the same swap reads five seasons on. College hockey ships with six conferences in the default rosters and you can build your own, which turns recruiting into a fight against every program in the country, decided by a prestige rating that moves with your results. Commitments run freshman through senior, so a recruit leaves early, ages out or loses his eligibility. Eleven new starting years were added, among them 1930, 1950, 1975, 2003 and 2025, each carrying the salary cap and contract rules of its own era, and the minors are now playable in history mode too. Minor league control covers trades, contracts, player movement and roster assignment, and one farm team can be switched off without disabling the league below it. Post season tournaments close with a round robin that feeds a semifinal and a final, each with its own page for the bracket, the standings, the scoring leaders and past winners. Thirty two Steam Achievements track a long career, accessibility covers adjustable text size, color alternatives, adjustable difficulty, mouse only play and no timed input, and the same build runs on phones as it does on PC.
