About The Game

Dinoblade, an unusual action RPG from independent studio Team Spino LLC and publisher Boltray Games, has officially launched on Steam. The project attracted attention from the very beginning thanks to its unique concept, in which dinosaurs battle each other with giant melee weapons. Prior to its release, the game garnered over 500,000 Steam wishlist additions, a significant indicator of interest from the indie community.

The story takes players to a prehistoric world that has experienced a global cataclysm that has transformed the nature of ancient reptiles. The protagonist is a young Spinosaurus, wielding a devastating two-handed sword crafted from ancient energy. He must engage in a desperate battle against his fellow dinosaurs, who have also mastered the weapon, to save his species from inevitable extinction.

The gameplay revolves around exploring several biomes, from parched canyons to misty jungles. Each region is home to its own Alpha Predator, which acts as the region's boss. The developers emphasize Soulslike mechanics in combat, including well-timed rolls, dodges, parries, combo attacks, and the search for legendary gear.

Despite the dynamic battles with plenty of blood and brutal cutscenes, the project's system requirements are quite modest: an Intel Core i5-7500 processor, a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, and 4GB of RAM are sufficient. For players who prefer less violent content, the developers have included an option to disable blood visual effects. A soundtrack featuring themes from key bosses has also been released on Bandcamp.
