About The Game

The Hollow Alchemist is a roguelike deck-building game in which you follow the adventures of Fumiko, a unique homunculus born without sin, as she journeys east to discover what it means to be human in a world scarred by failed alchemical experiments. The game features an elemental combat system: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind interact dynamically Water extinguishes burns, Wind intensifies them, and Earth absorbs water creating a multi-layered strategy game built on the correct alchemical reactions. Players build decks using mana gained from dice, summon allies to fight alongside Fumiko, and encounter the Seven Sins, each of which leaves an imprint that grants power but also corrupts the character.

The journey takes you through thirteen unique kingdoms filled with villages, ruins, and puzzle-solving homunculi, with branching storylines that unfold over multiple playthroughs. You can craft your own cards by combining the four elements, adding a creative element to deck building. The combat system combines dynamic action with clever elemental combinations, buffs, and debuffs that stack and interact in complex ways. Exploring the node based map offers a choice between battles, story driven encounters, and character-defining moments that shape Fumiko's personality.
