Some secrets are bound by threads too ancient to cut, but something is cutting anyway. The Dead Thread, a 2026 action adventure horror game from JSK Games, follows a lone survivor who can see the invisible strands connecting the living to their fates. When people around you start dying in ways that defy explanation, you realize the threads are being severed deliberately. The culprit is not human, and it has noticed that you can see it. Now you are both hunter and hunted, racing to understand the nature of the threads before yours becomes the next to snap.

The adventure unfolds through non-linear exploration, letting you choose which locations to investigate and which threads to follow. The latest version adds a thread weaving mechanic that lets you temporarily repair damaged connections, buying time for those marked for death. Action combat is deliberate and punishing, forcing you to conserve resources and choose engagements wisely.
