About The Game

Kill The Clock puts players in the shoes of a vengeful protagonist, navigating the dark streets of mid-1900s Europe, only to discover that his nemesis has already been murdered by an unknown assailant. Accused of the crime, the player must unravel the mystery of his foe’s death. The investigation takes place within a repeating time loop, forcing the protagonist to relive the same seven-day period over and over again, with each turn offering a different version of the death that must be unraveled before time resets, in a web of insidious deception.

In Kill The Clock, gamers create the characteristics of their hero, and then use dice rolls to influence their actions and the progression of the story. Exploring various locations around the city helps to gather evidence for the case, as well as interacting through conversations and tracking down the suspected culprits. The interrogation process involves identifying questionable moments in conversations and presenting facts to reveal hidden truths; supernatural mind reading helps to understand the true mood of the enemy, giving the upper hand.

The structure of this game ensures that with each reset of time, although the victim always meets his end, the identity of the criminal and the method of execution change, offering an ever-changing detective puzzle. This iterative investigative process allows for previously hidden circumstances to be revealed. Each episode contains several different endings, depending on the choices of the protagonist, his actions and the established relationships with the characters, which leads to the revelation of large-scale intrigues or to becoming another victim in an intricate action.
