About The Game

A lake, a forest and a road that disappears into the hills frame a medieval world with no main story to follow. JEP Switzerland LLC is a one person studio, and the survival and farming layers were built for long quiet sessions rather than quick runs. Veyora sits in Early Access and lets you play alone or invite friends into the same land around Lake Veyora. Ruins, caves and villages reward wandering, while bandits and creatures punish a careless walk without a weapon. Trading and resource management give a quiet player a way to grow without swinging a sword. The map is not a checklist, and most of the interesting places sit off the main road. The page carries system requirements, screenshots and gameplay videos, which is the fastest way to see how the forests and towns actually render. Nothing forces you toward combat, and a farmer can spend a season without meeting a single bandit.

Building is the part that separates this one from a usual role playing sandbox. Walls, floors, furniture and workstations go down piece by piece without a grid snapping them into a fixed shape, so a farm can grow around a hill instead of replacing it. Horses and old roads set the pace of travel between towns, taverns and markets full of merchants and villagers. Crafting, mining, gathering and alchemy feed the economy, while talents and magic open a path for a character who avoids a blade. Weather and the day and night cycle change what is worth doing outside, so a long ride can wait for morning. Hundreds of NPCs carry small problems that turn into quests, and hidden places keep their stories for anyone who leaves the road. This version of the build still lists what the roadmap has not reached, and the patch notes are the honest place to check what moved since the last update.
