Argonaut Games has released a remaster of Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos, the classic 1999 3D platformer featuring the adventures of a little crocodile named Croc. A new trailer showcases the hero’s journey to find his family, his exploration of four distinct villages, his efforts to rescue the Gobbos, and his battles against new Guardians. This updated version features enhanced graphics and modern gameplay improvements. The story begins with the return of Baron Dante, who is resurrected by the Dantinis.

Seeking revenge against his old nemesis, Dante turns Croc’s search for his parents into a dangerous new adventure. The hero must traverse the mainland, complete quests, liberate captured Gobbos, and overcome challenges across a variety of locations. In addition to his signature jumps and tail swipes, Croc has mastered the triple jump and can now utilize various modes of transport. Players can look forward to racing in cars and speedboats, riding in mine carts, gliding on a hang glider, and even piloting a small airplane. In total, the remaster includes over 40 levels.
