On Halloween night in Shady Hill, saucers appear over the rooftops and the neighbors climb out of their graves shortly after. Four characters decide to push back, and the weapon they trust most is a guitar. Dead Party comes from Radiation Blue with Snail Games USA as publisher, and it treats the outbreak as a party game for four rather than a grim solo crawl, splitting the game into a story mode for the four heroes and a customizable arcade mode for shorter sessions. Each of the four brings a different reason to fight, and the story mode follows all of them in turn. The page has the system requirements, screenshots and a gameplay video, and that video shows how the music mechanic looks in motion.

Four modes set the tone. Showtime turns music into a defensive tool, Fuel Run sends the team to generators that broadcast jamming radio waves, Skull Cannon collects zombie skulls and fires them at the saucers, and Horde asks how long a barricade can last. Furniture and props break down into the material for those barricades, so every room works as cover and as a supply at the same time. Resources come from the room itself, which means a team that clears furniture early has more to work with later. Zombie types each carry their own rule, and the levels are laid out with chokepoints that reward a team which picks a place to hold. The invaders share one weakness: human music, which is why the guitar burst matters when a crowd closes in. Unlocking traps and weapons gives a team more ways to keep the door shut, and each hero follows a separate storyline across the campaign. The project is still being updated, so check the version number and the patch notes before starting a run with friends on older clients.
