Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is a story driven role playing game developed by Nihon Falcom and published by Nihon Falcom together with GungHo Online Entertainment America and Clouded Leopard Entertainment, released on September 16, 2026. Estelle Bright continues her journey to find the missing Joshua as the kingdom of Liberl slumbers under Queen Alicia and the conspiracies of the mysterious society Ouroboros unfold. The world has been fully remade in three dimensions, and the game adds more than twenty hours of new content.

The gameplay pairs refined combat with a Brave Attack system and a fully three dimensional world to explore. Field activities include fishing, cooking, and alchemy, and new quests and characters join the cast. The game offers both English and Japanese voice tracks, letting players choose their preferred presentation. Additional costume sets and cosmetic items are sold separately as purchasable DLC released on their own dates, so the main story stands on its own. The remake modernizes the classic adventure while keeping the character driven story at the heart, and the expanded content gives returning players new reasons to walk the roads of Liberl again. The Brave Attack system refines combat, the field activities add texture between story beats, and the more than twenty hours of new content extend the journey that began in the first chapter.
