About The Game

Panzer Deck is a turn based tactics card game developed and published by Smash Wall, released on September 22, 2026. Set during World War Two, it combines deck building with tactical grid battles across three factions: the Wehrmacht, the Red Army, and the Allied Expeditionary Force. A campaign with permadeath raises the stakes of every decision.

The gameplay asks you to construct a deck from unit cards representing tanks, infantry, and support units, then deploy them onto a tactical grid where positioning and initiative decide the fight. Each faction plays differently, offering distinct approaches to the same battlefield. The campaign carries permadeath, so losses are permanent and every turn matters. Between battles you refine your deck, balancing offensive power and support as you push through the war. The mix of card strategy and tactical positioning gives each engagement a puzzle like feel, and the historical setting grounds the battles in a familiar theater of World War Two. Initiative determines who acts first, and the grid rewards careful placement over brute force, so a well positioned support unit can turn a losing fight. Deck building adds a layer of long term planning: the cards you choose before a battle shape the options you have during it, and with permadeath hanging over the campaign, every choice about which units to commit feels consequential. The three factions offer distinct play styles, so mastering one does not mean mastering them all. Terrain and facing matter on the grid, and holding initiative can decide a skirmish before the first shot lands. Deck building between missions asks hard questions about which tanks, infantry, and support cards to keep, and a thin deck can fail you at the worst moment. Permadeath makes every soldier precious, and the three factions each push a different rhythm of war. One bad turn can end a campaign.
