About The Game

Echoes of Mora is an atmospheric narrative adventure developed and published by Selkies Interactive, released on September 21, 2026. A boy went missing, a village drowned, and somehow you can reach into the past. You dive into the sunken ruins of the village of Mora, unlock portals to the days before the flood, and share what you find with Mora across time, hoping to change her fate and that of everyone she loves.

The gameplay drifts through flooded streets and silent houses, searching for hidden objects and traces of the people who lived there. Every discovery brings you closer to Mora and the mystery of her missing brother. Hidden in the depths lie Echoes, portals into the days before the flood, each sealed with fragments scattered across the sunken world or behind small puzzles. In the past, Mora is the only one who can see you: you answer her questions, point her toward what she needs to notice, and share discoveries, and your findings become her guidance. How the story of Mora ends is up to you, and you navigate at your own pace with keyboard and mouse or controller. The tone is quiet and melancholic, and the mystery unfolds slowly as you piece together what really happened to the brother who disappeared near the cursed violet lake. The connection across time is the heart of the game: what you find in the drowned present becomes what Mora notices in the living past, and the small puzzles that seal each Echo reward a careful search of the sunken world. The sunken village holds small stories in every house, and objects you find in the present unlock fragments that seal each Echo. Guiding Mora means choosing what she notices and when, and small hints can steer her away from danger or toward the truth about her brother.
