About The Game

BrokenLore DONT LIE is a psychological horror game about Junko, a young woman whose reality is gradually unraveling under the weight of addiction, loneliness, and fear. Her life is confined to her apartment, her medication, and occasional calls from Hideo and Shinji at the rehab center. Yet, the longer she remains alone, the harder it becomes to distinguish where an ordinary day ends and a nightmare begins.

Junko’s apartment transforms into a space of distorted visions. Objects shift shape, whispers drift through the silence, reflections appear alien, and familiar rooms fracture with glitches and bizarre transitions. Players must explore these hallucinations, notice unsettling details, and slowly piece together which events are real and which stem from fear and a fractured perception.

A retro game called Fantasy Boy plays a pivotal role. Initially appearing as a harmless escape from reality, it soon begins to influence the world around her. Each time it is played, it reveals darker layers of Junko’s consciousness, linking the virtual world to her own life. BrokenLore DONT LIE is perfect for fans of slow-burn psychological horror, liminal spaces, and stories where the truth lies hidden behind distortions.
