Moadra immerses players in an otherworldly realm teeming with mysterious creatures, treacherous hazards, and mind-bending puzzles. At the heart of the story is Moadra, an extraterrestrial warrior tasked with uncovering the truth behind a forgotten expedition to the enigmatic planet Protea VI. Initiated by the Neera a celestial alien race seeking to reconnect with their ancestors the mission takes an unexpected turn. The planet proves to be an unpredictable crucible of dangers and revelations; separated from the rest of the squad, Moadra finds herself thrust into the treacherous depths of Protea VI. A defining feature of Moadra is its non-linear design, allowing players to forge their own path through the intricacies of the universe.

The pace of exploration is entirely up to the player, with each discovery unfolding organically. The game’s combat system demands tactical skill, pitting the player against a wide array of hostile species. Moadra’s arsenal comprising diverse weapons and unique special abilities is expanded by absorbing protoplasm, a biomass harvested from defeated foes. The game’s atmosphere, at once somber and vibrant, encompasses desolate wastelands, glacial peaks, subterranean chasms, and decaying ruins. The narrative weaves a compelling tapestry, inviting players to unravel the tragic history of the Neera expedition, navigate perilous terrain to rescue survivors, and confront a malevolent specter lurking within the abyss of Protea VI.
