About The Game

LIVE IN DUNGEON is a sci-fi RPG from Heaviside Creations, and its premise is as unusual as it sounds. You play as a novice adventurer who live-streams every step of the journey from another world. With a loyal cat buddy at your side and a chat full of quirky viewers watching, the dungeon crawl becomes a broadcast, and every fight is performed for an audience.

The world of Wonderlucia treats streaming as the only advanced technology, so your career depends on two things: surviving the dungeon and keeping the chat entertained. Viewers drop comments as you explore, and you choose how to reply to each one. The sharper your answer, the more likes you collect. Those likes are more than vanity, because they can be spent to improve your skills, weapons, and armor. The comments arrive constantly, and staying on top of them is a skill of its own.

Battles run on an active command system where your skill as a streamer affects the outcome. Making great replies to comments shortens the wait between attacks, so a quick tongue is as useful as a sharp blade. Boss fights turn the chat into a rush of fast-moving comments, and leaning on supportive viewers helps you hold your ground against powerful enemies.

The dungeons themselves are worth the trip. Explored from a first-person perspective, they range from quiet forests to ancient ruins full of strange artifacts. Hidden corners hold unexplored regions with striking photogenic spots, and capturing them is a reliable way to win a wave of likes from the audience. Each dungeon has its own character, and the variety keeps the stream schedule interesting.

LIVE IN DUNGEON was released on Steam on June 4, 2021. It is a playful RPG for anyone who has ever wanted to turn a dungeon run into a show, complete with a cat co-host.
