About The Game

The Scuttle teleports the player to the Caribbean Sea, which since the Age of Discovery has been renowned for both the British and Spanish Empires' trading convoys and its indomitable pirates. These noble villains weren't above attacking ships to obtain precious metals, food, liquor, and textiles, then selling them profitably at the nearest port.

In The Scuttle, the player will do just that, gaining control of a fully-fledged ship. As the ship's captain, the protagonist finds the perfect balance between successful raids, business development, and the furnishing of their own wooden cruiser. While the characters aren't always on the open waters, part of the gameplay takes place on the shore, where the bandits disembark in search of hidden chests of gold or the materials needed to replenish their supplies.

The crew requires careful supervision, as it's impossible to know what's going on in their completely drunken heads. The main combat operations take place against enemy longboats. In a duel, careful maneuvering and careful steering angles are required to ensure the onboard artillery inflicts maximum damage on the enemy. Robbery operations are meticulously planned, as high casualties in the initial stages call into question the continued purpose of the crime.
