About The Game

The Dream of a Cockspur is an indie adventure game developed by Roccay Studios that immerses you in a surreal mystery on a remote island. You are one of six researchers investigating a strange celestial object that has fallen to the island, but when the engine of your fishing boat fails the day before departure, the situation takes a far more sinister turn. The story unfolds through fragmented, unsettling perspectives, hinting at terrifying discoveries involving special seeds, mysterious crops, and biblical references to cockspurs as children of the evil one.

The game features a surreal art style that enhances its eerie atmosphere, as well as point and click puzzles built around survival mechanics. You interact with the environment with your mouse, manipulating inventory items to solve puzzles and progress through the story. The protagonist is a book lover, and throughout the adventure, you'll encounter numerous texts to read, as well as a companion a therapy dog.
