About The Game

Reap and Rush, a fast-paced action roguelike inspired by Chinese folklore, takes the action to a chaotic underworld. An abnormally long lifespan for mortals has completely blocked the reincarnation mechanism, unleashing rampant atrocities from otherworldly entities. The situation is further complicated by the mysterious disappearance of the supreme guardian, Zhong Kui, causing the realm of the dead to completely lose its balance.

The protagonist is a hellish envoy forced to descend onto the battlefield to pacify countless hordes of yaoguai. In addition to constant battles, the official of the underworld department must deal with everyday oddities: untangling fox spirits, feeding hungry monsters, and advising errant deities. Peace negotiations and direct force are equally effective methods of restoring order.
