About The Game

Lost in Tandem is a touching 2D puzzle adventure centered on the journey of a lonely girl and a defective robot named Mech-ute. The story unfolds in a post-apocalyptic era, following the global cataclysm of the late 20th century, when nature gradually reclaimed control of the Earth's surface. Picturesque landscapes and character animations are handcrafted using traditional artistic techniques. The companions are guided by the only remaining geometric marker in the mechanisms damaged memory precise geographic coordinates.

The gameplay is built on asymmetrical interaction between two characters, available in both local co-op and single-player with companion switching. Controlling the heroine allows you to pilot the defective robot, unlocking additional abilities to overcome natural obstacles. In Lost in Tandem, exploration of picturesque locations and spatial puzzle solving are closely intertwined with the emotional development of the characters' relationships. Overcoming dangers during the journey relies on:

• upgrading the robot's systems – improving its parameters helps it cope with difficult challenges
• interactivity of the surrounding world – directly interacting with objects opens passages within locations
• searching for ancient artifacts – collecting fragments of the past reveals stories of a bygone era;contacts with unusual characters rare 
• encounters with the world's inhabitants complement the narrative
