About The Game
Virtue and a Sledgehammer is an action adventure game about returning to one’s hometown a mining settlement in the mountains now overrun by robotic, ghostly versions of the local residents. Armed with a sledgehammer, the protagonist smashes her way through the town, destroying structures and mechanical facsimiles of the people who once lived there. As she explores this world and wrecks places she has known since childhood, long-buried memories and traumas resurface, shedding light on family traditions, vices, and virtues. The game explores the loss of connection to one’s roots and the act of confronting the past.
