About The Game

Temporal Titans is a science fiction tower defense game from Lost Tower Games, published by Next in Game, with one defining twist: time travel. The story takes place after the war with the monstrous Grell has driven the last of humanity aboard great airships that float above a ruined earth. You deploy to the surface with Time Walker mechs, machines capable of manipulating time in combat, to protect salvage teams that gather equipment, supplies, and survivors from the lost world below. The long term goal is to upgrade your forces, improve your defenses, and one day find the key that reverts the apocalypse itself. The game shipped in March 2026 and stands among the few tower defense titles that reward both careful planning and improvisation. The salvage runs are the heartbeat of the campaign: every defended position keeps teams alive longer, and every lost mech hurts your future options.

The gameplay is classic tower defense enriched with tactical mech control. You deploy turrets, position mechs, and hold back swarming waves of enemies, but when a defense line starts to collapse you can send a mech back to a previous wave and replay it with a duplicate at your side. Stack several copies at the same point and a lost fight becomes a comfortable victory. Mechs matter individually: melee focused units defend roadways and slow enemies, jump jet machines take elevated positions for a wider firing angle, and loadouts grant active abilities like the gravity hammer demolition or the Bulletstorm burst. Among the most interesting features are the duplicate time travel mechanic, the destructible battlefields with elevation and multiple paths, and the pilots whose loadouts change every mission. Waves escalate quickly, so turret placement and mech timing decide runs more than raw reaction speed. Every battlefield also reacts to the fighting, with falling towers, shattered cover, and paths that open and close as the destruction spreads.
