About The Game

Airline Empire is a turn based airline management simulation from the developer KS, released in early October 2026. You found your own carrier, pick a home hub anywhere on a world map of more than three hundred real cities, and grow it month by month into a worldwide megacarrier. The competition is serious: up to one hundred rival AI airlines fight for market share on every continent, so each route you open, fare you set, and slot you secure at a crowded airport matters. The fleet itself is a toolbox of range classes, from small jets for short hops to long range aircraft, and choosing the right machine for each route is a game in itself. The genre mix of simulation, strategy, and management makes it a classic business tycoon experience on a truly global scale. A hub and spoke model works better than scattered point to point routes, and working out the network shape is the first strategic puzzle of every new carrier.

The gameplay runs in monthly turns, and every decision flows straight to the bottom line. You buy aircraft that suit the mission length, build hub connections, form alliances, and decide when to borrow, expand, or consolidate during a swinging economy that rides from boom to great depression. Fuel prices change, crews must be paid, and aircraft need maintenance, so a profitable quarter can turn into a loss if the fleet and the route network grow without discipline. Each turn the fleet comes alive on a living world map while the monthly report shows exactly where the company stands. Among the most interesting features are the huge real city map, the airport slot competition, the honest economic simulation, and the long term planning that rewards patience over reckless expansion. Long range routes need wide body aircraft, short hops need cheap small jets, and mixing both badly drains cash.
