The game Entity The Black Day is a third person survival horror action adventure and the debut project from ASD Games Studio. The story follows Adam, a former special forces operative who receives a top secret mission to investigate a supposedly abandoned underground facility where biological research was once conducted. He must find evidence that the government funded a secret viral program that spiraled out of control and killed thousands of people. What starts as a simple data retrieval operation quickly turns into a dangerous search for answers. Most of the facility staff are dead after brutal emergency protocols were activated, and two scientists remain missing somewhere in the dark corridors and drainage tunnels. As Adam follows their trail, disturbing signs and unexplained events force him to question the true nature of his mission and his own connection to this place. A standard playthrough takes about four hours, and the included expansion The Operative adds two more. It continues the story after the main ending and puts you in the role of Ethan Carter, a new character who uncovers the secrets of a classified government project hidden in Area 1107.

The gameplay blends intense combat with careful exploration of dark and atmospheric underground environments. You fight enemies with firearms, melee strikes, and evasive maneuvers, and weakened opponents can be finished with brutal executions. New weapons unlock as you progress, while health is restored with limited medical injections found along the way. Ammunition often runs low, so you are encouraged to search every corner for extra rounds and materials and to craft your own supplies when things get critical. Boss battles stand apart as a separate challenge because each powerful enemy has distinct attack patterns and demands its own tactic. A standout feature is Adam himself, who behaves like a real companion thanks to an advanced artificial intelligence system. He reacts to situations, shares his thoughts, speaks to the player directly, and sometimes even breaks the fourth wall, and you can choose how often he interacts with you. The project also mixes the virtual world with reality, because some puzzles can only be solved by combining clues from both sides of the screen, which forces you to think beyond the usual boundaries of the game.
