About The Game

Recurrence is an action adventure survival horror developed and published by Equinox Interactive, released on September 25, 2026. The game drops you into a cyberpunk world caught in a time loop corrupted by a strange signal. You play Vera, a researcher who awakens inside a replicant body and must unravel the origin of the signal while the loop tightens around her. Cosmic horror hums beneath the neon as mechanical abominations patrol the streets.

The gameplay blends fixed camera angles, brain teasing puzzles, and retro style graphics with confrontations against mechanical horrors. Each repetition of the loop offers new opportunities: clues exist only at specific times, so the same street corner can hold a secret in one cycle and nothing in the next. You solve puzzles, gather fragments of the truth, and try to break the loop before the signal consumes everything. The fixed cameras frame the dread, the retro visuals recall classic survival horror, and the puzzles reward observation and memory across cycles. Every decision carries weight because the loop remembers, and the question that drives the story is simple: can you break the loop and escape the signal, or will you be trapped in the recurrence forever. The world is built to be revisited, and familiarity becomes your sharpest tool: a door that was locked in one cycle may open in another, a character who ignored Vera before may speak now.
