Heroes Vow Three Kingdoms is a sandbox role playing strategy game developed by Free Wing and published together with NPC Entertainment. The setting is the turbulent final era of the Han Dynasty, when the realm splinters among ambitious warlords and every person must choose a side, or forge one. The game hands the player complete freedom, because you can become a ruler who unites the land, a courtier serving a wise lord, a wandering officer raising private troops to tip the scales of history, or even a hermit who retreats into sacred mountains to cultivate martial arts and eloquence. Sworn brotherhoods, romance, marriage, and raising heirs sit on equal footing with estate management, troop drills, and grand diplomacy. History unfolds exactly as the records tell it, but nothing stops you from rewriting the chronicle and winning the hearts of the people along the way.

The gameplay rests on a three tiered world structure that connects grand strategy with personal life.
