About The Game

The game Pioneers of Pagonia Echoes of Aldramar is a massive story driven expansion for the classic real time city building strategy game. The story line unfolds on the southern frontiers of a mysterious sea where the player must lead a brave expedition to explore the legendary islands of an ancient civilization. Once prosperous lands have turned into a harsh barren desert due to a terrible global cataclysm that fractured the unified world into numerous small fragments. Your main goal is to unravel the dark secrets of the lost legacy of the past, revive the endless sandy territories, restore their former fertility, and rebuild majestic historical monuments to bring the scattered tribes back together.

The gameplay is completely focused on deep economic planning, building production chains, and managing thousands of loyal settlers. The main mechanic of the game relies heavily on the careful development of challenging desert locations where quicksand blocks access to valuable resources and the dry climate hinders regular farming. You will have to mine a brand new construction material called white marble in specialized master quarries and send trained workers to expedition camps to restore ruined monuments and magical obelisks even outside the official borders of your main base territory. Of particular interest are the gigantic stone warriors who once peacefully guarded the buildings but have now spun out of control and patrol the ruins, forcing the player to devise clever tactical maneuvers or build combat altars to buff their army for the epic final boss fight.
