About The Game

The game Airport Control 27 is a realistic three dimensional air traffic control simulator that allows players to step into the shoes of a flight director at the largest airports around the world. The gameplay is completely free of fantasy elements and faithfully reproduces the daily routine of control tower workers. You will have to manage a huge stream of passenger airplanes coordinate their movement on the ground and in the sky and monitor strict adherence to safety intervals. The main goal is to ensure the fastest orderly and safest takeoff and landing of all aircraft while preventing dangerous close calls or emergency situations on the runways.

The main mechanic of the game relies heavily on simultaneous control of airspace and ground traffic using an interactive radar and a detailed three dimensional camera view. The player must independently create taxi routes for airplanes from passenger terminals to the runway issue pushback commands manage takeoff sequencing and coordinate landing approaches considering speed and altitude limits. Of particular interest is the radio communication system which uses voice synthesis technology to reproduce real pilot readbacks with multiple international accents making it much harder to understand information under high workload. Among the interesting features of the project is the presence of an endless game mode highly detailed animated jet bridges and official support for custom modifications via the workshop to add real airline flight schedules.
