About The Game

Fleetbreakers is an action real time strategy roguelite developed by Last Keep and published by Level Up Gaming, currently available in early access. The team includes creators of Halo Wars and Age of Empires, and the pitch is direct: satisfying fleet combat in bite sized sessions with the strategic depth of classic real time strategy games. Every run throws the fleet into a fresh fight for survival deep inside space controlled by the Voltari, and the campaign keeps evolving so the itch for just one more run never fades. Cataclysmic battles, readable tactics and quick replayable missions make it a strategy game for players who do not have a whole evening to spare. The studio pitches the game as fleet combat for modern attention spans, where a full session fits between two cups of coffee yet ends with a battle worth retelling.

The gameplay leads from the mothership, but battles are won by the squadrons the player deploys, the abilities timed at the right second and the risks taken for bigger rewards. Resources are gathered during missions, upgrades are chosen between fights, and every decision shapes the composition of the fleet for the next clash. The roguelite structure rebuilds each campaign from scratch: new sectors of Voltari space, new upgrade paths and an ending that depends on how greedily the fleet pushed forward. Battles stay readable by design, so the commander always understands why a squadron lived or died, and losses turn into lessons instead of frustration. Mothership abilities add a personal trump card to every engagement, and the balance between saving them and spending them decides close fights. As an early access project the game grows with updates, and the evolving campaign rewards commanders who return for another descent into the cataclysm. Squadron variety grows across a run, so a late campaign fleet looks nothing like the modest escort group it started as.
