About The Game

SILENT HILL Townfall is a full length psychological horror adventure developed by Screen Burn and published by KONAMI together with Annapurna Interactive. The story calls Simon Ordell back to the island of St. Amelia to put things right, and what he finds is a town lying quiet beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but far from at rest. The setting is the cold isolated backdrop of Scotland in 1996, and the whole experience is played in first person. Driven to understand his connection to the place and its inhabitants, Simon ventures deeper into the silence and begins to uncover fragments of a past that keeps rising to the surface, while reality and delusion subtly intertwine around him. The release arrived in September 2026 as a self standing story in the legendary horror series.

The gameplay balances tense evasion with frenetic combat and narrative driven puzzles. Simon must explore, evade and survive with a limited set of weapons and tools, and among them is the CRTV, a pocket television used to tune into unstable signals and read the hidden layer of the town. Fog soaked streets, abandoned communities and forgotten corners tell their story through atmosphere and history, and every district of St. Amelia adds another piece to a truth that refuses to stay submerged. Resources are scarce, so the choice between hiding, running and fighting becomes the core decision of nearly every encounter, while puzzles are woven directly into the narrative instead of sitting on top of it. As a self contained chapter of the legendary series the game demands no knowledge of the older titles, yet it carries the signature mood of the fog, the guilt and the town that shows people what they refuse to see. The island works as a maze of memory, and each step inland pulls Simon further from the shore and deeper into what he tried to leave behind.
