About The Game

iRacing Studios NASCAR 26 has officially unveiled NASCAR 26 and opened pre-orders on all major platforms. The release is scheduled for September 18, 2026 for PC on Steam, as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The project will be the official game of the auto racing series and will unite 4 NASCAR national championships, which will be available in single career, quick race, championship, online competition and the new format The Chase.

The developers place special emphasis on the updated Driving Physics 2.0 physics model, which has changed the behavior of the tires and braking system, as well as on the new engine configuration with 750 horsepower. The game features Dynamic Track technology, which changes trajectories and grip on asphalt throughout the entire racing session from the first practice to the finish. Visual changes include new sky domes with dynamic lighting, improved motion blur, and a Burnout Celebrations smoke system for celebrating victories.

NASCAR 26 will feature full cross-play between players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Career Mode will offer personalized training programs led by renowned motorsports figures including Daytona 500 champion Jamie McMurray and race crew chief Steve Letarte. Players will be able to upgrade their base and garages, collect trophies in the trophy room, and listen to episodes of the in-game podcast Door Bumper Clear!.A notable detail on the project's Steam page was the official disclosure of the use of generative artificial intelligence technologies. According to developers from iRacing Studios, the generated AI content was used to create individual voiceover cues and some presentation elements in the user interface. In this case, the simulator will be released without Russian language support; the interface and voice acting will be available only in English.

The system requirements of NASCAR 26 turned out to be quite high for the genre. To run the game at minimum settings on Steam, you will need a 4-core Intel Core i5-4430 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, 16 GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon 570 video card with 4 GB of video memory and 65 GB of disk space. The recommended requirements include an 8-core processor like the Intel Core i9-9900KS or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 32 GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti video card with 8 GB of video memory and 100 GB of free space.

In addition to the standard edition, the authors offered a Gold Edition option, which guarantees 3 days of early access before the official release, 4 season packs with car liveries, as well as VIP employees for the career team. For pre-ordering any of the editions, the developers will award 5,000 in-game career dollars, 500 reputation points and a bonus car design kit for racer Kyle Larson.
