About The Game

Character building, dungeon crawling, and loot: the three pillars of the genre get their own home in Larina, a single player turn based fantasy RPG from developer and publisher Stefan Pulfer.

The heart of the system is Souls. No, not those Souls. Combat Souls that the hero acquires and develops, each with their own skills, weapons, mechanics, and playstyle. Changing a Soul changes the way the fight feels, and builds grow around Strength, Dexterity, Intellect, and Stamina. The system is flexible, and the hero can pivot between Souls mid campaign, so no build is locked in forever. A mercenary companion can be hired, and the pair experiments with combinations that suit the run.

The world is filled with dungeons, quests, and dangerous bosses. Every map can be repeated with new challenges and rewards, and the endgame is built around repeatable challenges for those who want to test a finished build. Every dungeon is a test of the current build, and the bosses are the final exam. The turn based combat keeps the pace deliberate, and every round asks for a decision.

The loot hunt drives everything forward. Rare, Set, and Unique equipment wait in the dark, and powerful gear can be found or crafted. The hunt never stops, and the thrill of a rare drop is the engine of the whole game. A single piece of equipment can change the entire strategy, and the next dungeon is always one more run away. The preparation before the fight matters as much as the fight itself.

The game rewards patience, and the best gear is earned, not given. Larina arrived on 04 September 2026 and is aimed at players who like their RPGs deep in systems and generous with loot. The dungeons are open, and the Souls are waiting.
