About The Game

Some places are old enough to keep secrets. Shadow Dungeon is a dark fantasy action RPG from OO Cat, which develops and publishes the game, drawn in a retro inspired style that recalls the role playing games of the late 1990s. You choose your hero and step into a vast, mysterious world that has been waiting for someone reckless enough to explore it.

The journey covers ground few maps admit to. Eerie and terrifying dungeons give way to solemn ancient temples, scorching deserts lead to haunted ruins full of restless spirits, and the road keeps going past the edges of the ordinary. The world does not explain itself. The game takes the hero to places no mortal has set foot, from distant realms beyond reality to the depths of hell itself.

Exploration is rewarded at every step. Hidden treasures wait across the world, every ruin conceals secrets, and strange artifacts hold ancient power for those who can claim them. What you carry out of the dark changes how the next descent plays, and curiosity is as valuable as any weapon in the arsenal.

The dark is not empty. Terrifying monsters, demonic beasts, and countless legendary creatures lurk in the shadows, and the hack and slash combat meets them head on with RPG progression underneath. Death teaches, and the dungeon repeats the lesson. Each fight tests your build, and each corridor teaches you whether you are ready for what lies below it.

The presentation wears its influences proudly. The old school visuals keep every cavern and temple readable, while the dark fantasy tone keeps the stakes sharp and the atmosphere thick. Nostalgia is the frame, but the adventure fills it with its own story. It is a long climb down. Shadow Dungeon is built for players who miss descending somewhere dangerous and choosing to go deeper.
