About The Game

Escape From Zombie U:reloaded is an adult oriented adventure strategy game developed by SodaAnimations with a female protagonist and a story that mixes survival, humor and mature scenes.

The setting is Williams College, an educational campus that turned into a survival zone. Most of the people inside, former students and staff, now hunt the living instead of studying. You play as Melody Farrington, an English teacher whose attention shifts from grammar to basic self preservation. Her love of words remains, but the campus now demands a different kind of skill.

The gameplay runs through two main systems. The first is an exploration phase. You move across the campus, search rooms for useful items, and trigger scripted events that depend on your location and the state of your character. Your stats and the results of dice rolls decide how these events play out. Every attempt creates a different situation, so no two runs feel the same.

The second system is combat. Waves of zombies approach, and you fight them in clicker style action. Melody does not use firearms. Instead, she relies on chalk and everyday school supplies, and she directs her students to set up improvised devices against the advancing horde. The locations are drawn by hand, which gives the campus a soft cartoon look that contrasts with the violence around it.

The story includes adult situations and interactions inside a full single player campaign. The mature content is part of the narrative and appears during the interaction between Melody and the characters she saves. The game is clearly marked for adult audiences. The campaign has several endings that depend on your actions and on who survives. The dice system adds a layer of chance, so saving every student requires planning and a bit of luck.
