About The Game

Mad Merchant is an action-adventure strategy game developed by Ravenholm Interactive, in which you manage an empire of mobile trains traveling through dystopian wastelands. You need to control several wagons in real time, each of which performs the most important functions that ensure the operability of your "walking fortress" and prevent catastrophic failures in the system. Combat actions include defense against enemy drones with the help of automatic turrets or switching to manual control for direct destruction of the enemy. Between trips, you will have to bargain with traders in safe havens, exchanging mechanical parts and receiving profits that will go towards financing the most important upgrades to the train necessary for survival.

The upgrade system directly affects whether you will be able to survive the upcoming brutal cross-border journey. Route planning adds strategic depth, as you have to choose between risky "shortest routes" that save time, and longer but safer routes through the wastelands. Every decision has consequences in this ruthless world where your train is your only hope for survival. The game combines resource management, tactical combat and trading mechanics, creating a survival-oriented gaming experience. Success depends on how well you manage to find a balance between wagon maintenance, combat readiness, smart trading and calculated risk throughout the dangerous journey.
