About The Game

In BLOODLETTER you are not a hero with a sword. You are a medieval barber surgeon working in a bathhouse, and your patients are your battlefield. This card strategy game from ALDAMAMI GAMES puts management, deck building and dark humor into one strange clinic.

The source of the trouble is a sinister tabletop figurine that stands in the corner. The idol houses one of four demons. When night falls, the demon starts to corrupt the patients and spreads sickness through the building. You have to find the demon, drain its power, and save the people before the corruption spreads too far.

Your tools are 80 unique spells inspired by tarot mysticism. Each spell has its own effect, and the deck you build decides how your day goes. The goal of every shift is to fill a flask with life energy. You extract blood stones from the demon to charge it. Fill the flask four times and the demon is pushed back. Let four citizens die, and the game is over.

The clinic runs on a day and night cycle. By day, you treat the visitors inside the gloomy infirmary. Cured patients reward you with 11 skills that improve your arsenal and reveal new spells. The work is risky. Reaching absolute health grants blessings, while the death of a patient brings six curses. Luck and probability are part of the design, and the odds can turn against you at any moment.

The bell on the table calls the next sufferer, and the cycle continues. Three difficulty levels change the pace of the corruption and the pressure on your resources. The game is in Early Access and keeps expanding with updates, so the demon roster and spell list grow over time.
