About The Game

Security 51 is a grim security checkpoint simulator where the key task is filtering personnel within a top-secret underground complex. The plot takes you into the depths of Area 51, which conceals laboratories for the study of anomalies and extraterrestrial entities in kilometers-long shafts. Taking up a post in front of the cargo elevator, the player verifies identities and checks access permissions. Gradually, routine bureaucracy becomes permeated with paranoia, as even perfect documents can conceal the presence of a foreign organism. A misidentification threatens a fatal breakthrough of uncontrolled threats to the surface. Security guards must decide people's fates every shift, relying on strict instructions and intuition.

The daily security screening process requires checking names, work positions, and time schedules against official records. Monitoring visitors' facial expressions helps detect signs of infection or substitution. Security 51's arsenal of tools is gradually expanding, adding fingerprinting and mandatory blood tests to its arsenal. Suspicious individuals are recommended to be immediately sent to quarantine units until the circumstances are clarified. Encounters with unexplained technical failures, where cameras see people in empty booths, cast doubt on the reality of what's happening. Each decision to allow entry creates a complex system of consequences for the security of the entire facility.

A unique feature of the gameplay is the mechanics of deferred responsibility, whereby an oversight becomes apparent only after several shifts. Psychological tension is heightened by the realization of the scale of the disaster hidden behind the steel doors of a deep bunker. The player must maintain concentration to recognize, among hundreds of faces, those that are no longer human. Ultimate success depends on the ability to effectively respond to unusual incidents under constant pressure from management. Control of the only exit to the surface transforms an ordinary employee into the last defender of civilization.
