About The Game

BIZ Helmsman is a strategy and management simulation with point and click elements, created and released by studio 22°N explorer studio. The plot starts in an ordinary office, where a bottom tier employee suddenly receives a company as an inheritance.

From this moment the story splits into two lives. By day the new CEO navigates orders, assigns tasks to workers, monitors deadlines and balances exploitation with humanity to keep the firm alive. By night the same person plays the role of father and husband, walks between family duties, underground deals and personal conscience.

The core loop rests on randomly generated contracts. A low profit public welfare project keeps the business clean, while a risky illegal deal can deliver serious money in a short time. Every contract influences profit, employee stress, company reputation and morality at once, so there is no free lunch in any of the offers.

Resource management stays precise. Funds, limited working hours, mood points of the staff and technology development all demand attention. The right specialist on the right task raises efficiency, while constant pressure on the team may push productivity up for a week and then collapse into a scandal.

Employees here are people, not resources. Each core staff member has a backstory, a personality and secrets. Dialogues and random events reveal their lives, and the way you treat them echoes later. Short term exploitation can end in betrayal, while sincere care can unlock unexpected loyalty in the hardest moments of the campaign.

Nights open a second battlefield. Going home means supporting the family, spending time with loved ones and keeping the house warm. Exploring the city instead offers the black market, meetings with tycoons, casinos and random strangers. Every evening choice carries far reaching consequences for the plot and for the people around the hero.

The campaign is a branching story with multiple endings, and the moral meter the player builds changes the reactions of every character. What looks like a small compromise today can grow into a disaster tomorrow, so the game asks not only for business logic but also for a personal answer to each dilemma.
