About The Game

Arcane Merchant is a retail management simulator from Findie Studios, set in a classic fantasy kingdom where the path to financial dominance begins with a simple counter and an ambition worth keeping alive.

Growth here is deliberate. The counter becomes a stall, the stall becomes a store, and the store becomes a landmark, provided every step receives a thoughtful allocation of resources. Watching the city markets is part of the job, and so is presentation: the visual design of the sales area and the careful positioning of products foster customer trust over time. In this economy, prosperity depends on balancing high profits with customer loyalty, and the model rewards merchants who respond in time to the changing interests of citizens and visitors to the kingdom. Rushing the formula is how shops end up empty.

The inventory gives the setting its flavor. Display cases fill with magical potions and melee weapons, with rare crystals and relics rotating in regularly, and prices adjust with market factors instead of sitting still. Accumulated funds can be reinvested in new display areas, expanding what the shop can offer. Help arrives in two forms. Hired assistants absorb the day to day responsibilities and free your attention for long range planning, while experienced warriors take on the complex assignments that guarantee regular deliveries of exotic treasures from hard to reach lands.

The pace stays serene by design. External pressure never forces your hand, and the strategy of enrichment develops comfortably, session after session. The ultimate goal is status as much as wealth: becoming the most respected merchant in the realm and the one who controls its trade.

Findie Studios built the project as a meditative shopkeeping experience, where success is measured not only in gold but in social recognition, and the counter you started with gets to watch it all happen.
