About The Game

Your dog fell into a hole. The hole goes down very far. Pratfall is a chaotic co-op adventure from Quad Head, where you fall, dig, explode and rescue your way through a deadly cave system with gravity as the most dangerous enemy. The title is a threat and a promise.

The setup asks the important question first: why is there even a construction site in this dog park. Your best friend dropped through the ground and needs help, so you grab a helmet, a pickaxe and a few friends and head down after him. What begins as a rescue mission opens up into a huge system of caves, and the descent is tougher than the park ever warned you about.

The caves are full of traps and hazards, and the physics engine commits to every mistake. Someone conveniently ordered a pile of supplies that now lie scattered and buried around the tunnels: food to recover from injuries, ziplines for crossing crevasses, drills and pickaxes for carving your own path. Procedural generation reshapes the layout on every descent, so the next rescue never plays like the last one, and success depends on improvising with limited equipment in a setting that keeps changing its mind. The rock does not negotiate.

Cooperation is where the chaos peaks. Teammates need reviving in the middle of fights with the terrain, and every spectacular collision doubles as comedy. Beyond the campaign, weekly competitions with leaderboards give skilled cave divers a reason to sharpen their movement. The game keeps its humor wired into the physics, so failure stays entertaining even when the cave wins a round.

Quad Head built the project around the simple promise of the title. You will fall. The only question is whether your dog makes it home first. Bring a spare pickaxe.
