About The Game

GUN DOG REVENGE is a side scrolling platform shooter developed by MEWSTURBO and published by TurboCatSoftware. The story follows Visen, a retired hitman who wanted nothing more than a quiet life with his beloved dog. When the dog is killed, Visen picks up his weapons again, and this time there is no escape for his enemies. Only revenge.

The core of the game is fast arcade action. You run, jump, fight in melee and shoot your way through tight levels that are generated procedurally, so each run lays out its own sequence of rooms and enemy waves. The pace stays high from the first seconds, and the structure of every stage pushes you to keep moving forward instead of hiding behind cover.

Ammunition is limited, so every shot matters. You have to watch your magazine at all times, because the reload timing is a real survival mechanic. A well timed reload keeps the pressure on the enemies, while a mistimed one can leave you exposed in the middle of a firefight. Powerful yet restrained gunplay makes each trigger pull feel deliberate, and combining ranged fire with quick melee strikes is often the way out of a crowded room.

The opposition is not passive. Enemies read your behavior, try to predict your moves and punish careless patterns. Learning how different foes attack and positioning yourself ahead of time becomes just as important as raw aim. Both brains and bullets are required to survive deeper stages.

The project carries a strict personal code. Dogs are off limits, even the ones that fight on the enemy side, and the hero never breaks this rule no matter how heated the fight gets.
