About The Game

Taking control of a busy harbor is the whole point of Port Authority, a management puzzle game created by NFold Games. You draw routes across the water to guide every ship toward a dock that matches its color. Once a vessel is docked, its cargo is transferred and it prepares to set off again, which means both incoming and outgoing traffic demand your constant attention.

The rules are easy to grasp, yet every new decision carries weight. Small, nimble boats have to weave between massive freighters, and each type of vessel has its own speed and handling characteristics. As the waters fill up, you coordinate several routes at once and prevent collisions that would bring the whole operation to a halt. When traffic intensifies, careful planning beats quick reactions, and a single late adjustment can cause a jam that takes time to untangle.

The campaign spans 20 harbors inspired by real ports around the world. Each location presents its own layout and challenges, pushing you to refine the way you route ships. Between shifts you upgrade your harbors and fleets, opening stronger vessels and better facilities. Extra points are awarded for docking ships perfectly, so there is always a reason to replay a level and improve your score.

The presentation stays deliberately clean. Minimalist and abstract visuals keep the water, the routes and the ships readable even when the screen grows crowded. Sound remains understated as well, so long planning sessions stay calm rather than stressful. After the main harbors are cleared, an endless mode keeps the challenge going, and global leaderboards let you compare your results with players around the world.
